                Why I chosed to be a veterinarian?

From the very beginning of my life I got an exceptional attachment with animals. More than a mother milk, I was grown up from bovine milk. So many people called buffalo as my godmother. Belonging from farmer family; we had many livestock like buffalo, goat and poultry. I love playing with kids (Goat babies) and having monotonous talk with them. Dog which our maternal uncle had reared had special connection with every members of our family. He used to regard the people exactly the way a man does. He was so faithful. As the prints that the first impression leaves never get erases, so happened in mine.

As the time passed, my interest on veterinary got more boosted. During my high school I got opportunity to tour Japan for two times. The environment for wildlife I saw there was totally adorable. People serve their pet and other wildlife as common family members. 

Though in our country the veterinary faculty is taken in a conservative way in some societies. Through the internet I acknowledged the progress veterinary field has done in foreign countries is exceptional and praisable. Almost 75-80% of diseases are zoonotic. The widely spreading fatal diseases like swine flu, bird flu and many others got their emergence a few years ago, and now it has become a threat to animal as well as human lives. And thus for the remedies of these problems the veterinarian worked for. Moreover, there are several other fields as field of wildlife, surgery, medicine, pathology and many others for veterinary students to work on. From then, I vowed I will be there for animals, no matter how the society takes it as.

Be sure veterinary is a technical subject. Apart from a bookish knowledge you'll get chance to develop leadership and have exposure both in national and international level by indulging in diverse projects hosted by governmental and non-governmental organizations. Veterinary field is enlightened by many veteran people by their capabilities and consistent deeds.

Last but not the least: A real doctor treats more than one species. That is veterinary doctor.

It is what a veterinarian can be proud of: Large or small we treat them all.
